Last week, we did something a little different for Clerkenwell Design Week in London. We opened up our office at Techspace on Goswell Road and brought one of our booths out to Charterhouse Square. Two different spaces. Two different vibes. But one goal: to show how thoughtful, sensory-first design can shift the way we think about workspaces.

And honestly? It was a blast.

From Chaos to Calm. One Booth, Two Sides

Let’s start with the art. Our large Team booth became the canvas for something a little more abstract. Our artist Rob added two contrasting murals: one side bursting with colour and energy, representing everyday distractions; the other, a visual interpretation of calm and clarity. It was bold. It sparked conversation. And it showed just how much your space can influence your mindset.

An Office Built on Gin History? You Heard That Right

We also hosted two very enjoyable gin tasting evenings back at Techspace. Our gin expert whipped up three custom cocktails each night and shared some fascinating history. Not just about gin itself, but about the building, which sits on the site of a former gin distillery. There’s something kind of perfect about blending tradition and transformation in the same space where we’re now talking about the future of work.

Confess. Reset. Repeat

Then there were the booths. First up, the Confession Booth. A quiet place where anyone could step in, shut the door, and share something anonymously. No judgment. Just a little release. Right next to it was our Sensory Booth, designed to be the antidote to the overstimulation of the outside world. With a weighted blanket seat and a gently lit bubble wall, it gave visitors a rare moment of calm. Some didn’t want to leave.

Design Week, But Make It Human

Beyond the installations, it was just a great week of connection. We chatted with interior designers, workplace consultants, tech teams, and a few curious passersby. That’s the part we love most. Meeting people who care about building better spaces. Hearing how they work. Sharing a little inspiration along the way.

If you made it down to Clerkenwell, thank you. If not, we’ll be posting more from the week across our channels. And if you’re curious about how soundproof booths can bring more calm, clarity, and creativity to your workspace, you know where to find us.
