As part of this mission, Ignite Atlantic recently opened a new coworking space designed to support a mix of entrepreneurs, remote workers, and collaborators.

Supporting a Growing Coworking Community

Managing a coworking environment comes with a unique challenge. While Ignite Atlantic had private offices available, a large portion of the space was designed in a bullpen style layout to encourage openness and connection. The team wanted to ensure that members working in this open area still had access to quiet, private spaces for focused work and meetings, while also keeping the space flexible as the community continued to grow.

They were looking for a solution that could support privacy without limiting future expansion or redesign.

Adding Privacy and Presence to the Space

Ignite Atlantic introduced Bureau Tuesday booths, including both one person and four person models, to meet these needs. The booths immediately added dedicated private meeting and workspaces for members using the open coworking area.

Beyond functionality, the booths brought something extra to the space. Located in a small town, the booths quickly became a standout feature, adding a sense of novelty and helping the coworking space feel modern and forward thinking. They created a strong first impression for new members and visitors while blending naturally into the overall layout.

Early Results and Strong Adoption

Although the coworking space is still new, usage has steadily increased as more members settle in. The four person booth, while initially feeling like a larger investment, has quickly proven its value. It has become the most popular option, offering an accessible and comfortable space for small meetings, private collaboration, and project work without needing to book a larger room.

The one person booth has also provided a valuable option for focused work and private calls, giving members flexibility throughout the day.
