Why Soundproof Office Booths Are a Must-Have at Events and Trade Shows

There’s a lot to love about a good conference. The buzz of conversation, the energy of a packed venue, the spark of new ideas flying around the room. But somewhere between the keynote stage and your fifth coffee of the day, there’s one thing everyone starts craving: a quiet place to think.

We’ve been bringing our soundproof booths to conferences around the world, giving attendees and exhibitors a chance to take a breather, have a conversation, or send that one urgent email — all without needing to shout over thousands of people doing the same.

Web Summit Vancouver

Last month, we partnered with Web Summit for its Vancouver debut. Over 35,000 attendees packed into the Vancouver Convention Centre for a week of AI, tech, and truly mind-expanding talks. Our booths were right there in the action, placed in both public areas like the exhibition hall and quieter zones like the speaker and startup lounges.

And they were in near-constant use. Some people jumped in for quick meetings. Others used the booths to prep for talks or simply escape the noise for a few minutes. It was great to see the different ways people used the spaces depending on where they were placed and what they needed.

WSJ Future of Everything

We were approached to support The Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything event in New York, hosted at the stunning Glasshouse venue. Our Quad+ booth became a live podcast studio throughout the event, recording interviews and conversations with speakers and guests. The Wall Street Journal had the booths wrapped with event materials to showcase their brand to event attendees. 

Nearby, two of our Tuesday booths were set up and ready to go. Visitors used them to take calls, fire off emails, or just take a minute away from the floor. They blended right in and worked exactly as intended — as little pockets of calm and focus in a busy space.

Why It Works

Conferences are built for connection, but they rarely offer much space to focus. That’s why we love showing up with our booths. They’re simple to install, easy to use, and make a real difference for attendees, speakers, and staff.
